'A Medieval Murder' Synopsis
By: Joanne Smedley
10-11 Guests
Castle Comealot's jester Mr Minute, has been found dead in the castle hall, but he didn’t die laughing - oh no he was murdered! You could say someone else had the last laugh. Obviously whoever commited the crime took audience participation one step further and as it happens the prime suspects have all gathered together for a medieval banquet to solve the crime.
This is a simple to use, entertaining and innuendo packed murder mystery appropriate for both first timers and regular players. The scripted dialogue enhances the rounds, and the mystery combines the fun of a medieval night with a murder most horrid!

This was our 4th Annual Mystery Party from Host Party and one of the BEST! The Mystery was a good one, many twists, turns and laughs.... The format was more scripted, which helped accelerate the game. We did 2 rounds, did the buffet, and total game time was around 3 hours.
Everyone came in costumes, all were awesome. We served a buffet style bill of fare, which included roasted piglets, spinach/cheese pie, peacock eggs and Mead....(You guess what they were!), guests also brought finger foods.
I would highly suggest midieval type backgound music, candles, and a castle atmosphere to make this party extra special. Awesome time, we are already planning next year's MMP!

I was actually extremely surprised at how well our script "The Last Laugh" flowed. As the host, I was aware of the story line, however I was not expecting the game to unravel so well.
Everyone had a great time, the instructions were easy to follow & the characters & acting were sensational! Well done!
