The following characters are available for this murder mystery game. As in all of our murder mystery games, you can create your own characters for your party, but you will need to create murder mystery clues for those characters.

Murder Mystery Game Characters
	Alex Biko (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: Gazelle. Team: Africa. Team Expertise: Mammals. People don't just call you, "Lord of the Gazelle" because you understand them, caring for them like family. You're "Lord of the Gazelle" because you act like one of them. Loud noises and sudden movements startle you. You're a happy, genuine person, but you're always on your guard against... Nothing really. People often accuse you of having had too much coffee, but that's just your personality. Though you might sometimes be forgetful, you never forget to feed and water the gazelle. They're what gave you the courage to stick with your job at Pretoria Zoo in Johannesburg, South Africa. Finally, with the help of Animal Planet you can give the gazelle their proper due. If it wasn’t for that, you’d never have agreed to do this job. Cameras terrify you and you’ll probably forget most of your lines.
	Apex Logan (Can be played by a Male or Female) Writer/Adventurer “Just call me Apex,” you say, with a wink. You’re the picture of dashing adventurer. Some people have even called to the Indiana Jones of zoology. You’ve wrangled dangerous animals all over the world and now you’re ready for a slightly slower pace. When Animal Planet approached you to write and verify facts for their hot, new series, you jumped at the chance. You’ll still travel, still be around animals, but you won’t have nearly the hectic schedule. Plus, you won’t be in quite so much danger every day when you “go to the office.”
	Ash(ley) Silvertip (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: Foxes. Team: Europe. Team Expertise: Mammals. Foxes in Europe have a long history, and you've studied them since you were a kid. You're fascinated with foxes and always have been. Their clever adaptations, quick wit, and speed were what drew you to zoology in the first place. With this new show on Animal Planet, you now get to share their importance with millions of people. Who knew that solving one little mystery could mean so much fame? And you thought going to the World Wildlife Convention would be nerve-racking. Every time you think about getting up in front of a camera, you feel sick to your stomach. If you don’t forget your lines, you might just freeze up and not do anything! Deep breathing, you tell yourself. Breathe in. Breathe out.
	Dakota Fang (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: Frogs of the World. Team: North America. Team Expertise: Reptiles. Wide-eyed and always reaching out to experience the world, you jump into new situations whenever you can. You're excited about life and your new career with the San Diego Zoo in San Diego, California, USA. Like a frog, however, you often leap before you look and jump into bad situations. Not that that ever worries you. Dakota Fang always finds a way to jump right back out again. Your instincts told you that the World Wildlife Convention would be a great experience, but you had no idea it would come to all this. Your very own TV show with all your old friends from the convention! A primetime show on a big-time network! As if the world of frogs was an alien enough, now you’re hopping right into a TV studio. if you can’t have an adventure worth croaking about on an animal mystery show, you just aren’t trying!
	Eva(n) Glades (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: Florida Alligators. Team: North America. Team Expertise: Reptiles. Like the gators of Florida, you rule the food chain at San Diego Zoo in San Diego, California, USA. You're also the undisputed leader of team North America. Though you can be bossy at times, that's not why you're in charge. Though you're young, you're also smart, listen to your teammates, and always have good ideas. You never start conflicts yourself and solve conflicts between people easily. You're kind and tough. A born leader.
	FBI Agent Taylor (Recommended as Host) (Can be played by a Male or Female) FBI Investigator Agent Taylor, you might be a no-nonsense lawperson, but you have found yourself mixed up in yet another safari adventure. Since you’ve had to put up with one adventure in order to solve a crime, however, another one doesn’t seem all that bad. Adventure, you realized, is a test of skill, and you plan to rise to any occasion. That’s why you decided to join the FBI. And as always, your skill at finding even the smallest clues will make sure that nothing escapes your attention.
	Guy(ma) Anderson (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: Kangaroo. Team: Australia. Team Expertise: Mammals. In your opinion, Animal Planet was wise to choose you and the other handlers from the World Wildlife Convention for their new show. For starters, you and your teammate have been with Australia Zoo in Queensland, Australia for more years than you have fingers (and maybe toes too, now that you think about it). You are an expert. With a photographic memory and a love of studying, you know everything about kangaroos, Australia, and animals in general. Some people call you an egghead, but you know your stuff, love your job, and you just know you’ll love working on a TV show too.
	Jet(a) White (Can be played by a Male or Female) Assistant Director You’re a film school graduate who’s spent the last few years working your way up the studio ladder. You’ve worked as an assistant director on several projects. Now you’re going to be the Assistant Director under Scott (Scarlet) Charles, a talented but boisterous director, on the new Animal Planet series, “Mysterious Creatures.” Everyone who’s ever worked with you agrees that you’re kind, calm, and professional. Now you only hope you can help balance Director Charles’s flamboyant style to keep the stars of the show happy and the filming on schedule.
	Nate(allia) Kodiak (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: Bears. Team: Europe. Team Expertise: Mammals in General. You knew bears were your favorite animals the day you were out hiking and saw two cubs sledding down a snow-covered hill on their bellies. They had the right idea: Play all day and give someone else a laugh while you're at it. And that's what you try to do every day at Zurich Zoo in Switzerland. You whistle as you clean cages, tell jokes to all the other handlers, and are quick to laugh. Now you’ll get the chance to spread your humor all over the world on your new TV show.
	Pat(ricia) Osamu (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: Asian snakes. Team: Asia. Team Expertise: Reptiles. From the Amami odd-scaled snake to the Yonaguni keeled rat snake, you are the expert. At Asa Zoological Park in Hiroshima, Japan it's your job to ensure that every member of the squamata order is healthy and happy, even if you aren't always so happy yourself. Nobody seems to understand a snake lover except your fellow reptile handlers. But snakes are animals too! In fact, you prefer the company of snakes to most people. You're smart, snake-like, and a little bit sssneaky. Not only is being a host on, “Mysterious Creatures,” a great chance to educate people on the wonders of snakes, you know it’s probably good for you to get out of your shell and interact with people. Or should you say, it’s a good chance to get out of your sssskin and ssssocialize?
	Robert(a) Allen (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: Dingo. Team: Australia. Team Expertise: Mammals. You weren't surprised to hear that you were chosen to represent Australia Zoo in Queensland, Australia on a new TV show for Animal Planet. Who else would they call? You're the best after all, and you practically solved the World Wildlife Convention mystery all on your own. Besides, where animals are concerned, you know the ropes. With all the handlers you’ve met from around the world, you still haven't met one that could hold a candle to you. Sure, some of those eggheads can memorize hollow facts and regurgitate them to show off, but you know zoos like the back of your hand, and you're not afraid to let others know how smart and experienced you are.
	Ryan(a) Bruti (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler You were inspired by great adventurers and handlers when you were young, so you understand how important the Animal Planet Channel can be for inspiring the next generation of animal enthusiasts. You care little for the prestige associated with having your own TV show. Sure, it's an honor to represent Pretoria Zoo in Johannesburg, South Africa, and you intend to represent them very well, but, like the wise, gentle gorillas you love, you intend to keep your eyes on your goal. This TV show is for the animals.
	Ryu Nashimi (Can be played by a Male or Female) Animal Handler Expertise: The Barbour's Five-Lined Skink. Team: Asia. Team Expertise: Reptiles. The Barbour's five-lined skink is not just your area of expertise but your motto, your crest, your calling card. The skinks keep their blue, black and yellow scales clean, slick, and attractive, and so do you. Not that you have scales, really, but your attention to detail and desire for perfection is what has made you such a successful handler at the Asa Zoological Park in Hiroshima, Japan. When you were a kid you dreamed about becoming a designer. Your family was shocked when you announced you were going into zoology. No one expected that you'd want to hang around stinky, dirty animals. It turned out that that's where you were needed the most! Asa Zoo now sparkles as much as the skink's carefully polished scales and your carefully polished shoes.
	Scott (Scarlet) Charles (Recommended as Host) (Can be played by a Male or Female) Television Director You are the next big thing to happen to the world of nature television. And if people don’t believe it, they can just ask you. You’re all too happy to tell anyone and everyone that you have talent, insight, and sheer genius. You are the best director since Spielberg. And the whole world will know it as soon as you find that one perfect project to showcase your talents. If only all those no-talent writers, producers, actors, and assistants wouldn’t keep getting in your way!
