Field Rations CakeIngredients:
2 cans fruit cocktail (drained, juice reserved)
1 box vanilla cake mix
Ingredients on cake box to prepare cake (including grease and flour)
Whipped topping
Cake pans (as described on cake box) Directions: |

| Prepare the cake pan/pans as directed on cake box (grease and flour). Arrange drained fruit in the bottom of the pan/pans. Prepare the cake mix as directed on the box, then pour over the fruit. Bake according to the cake box directions. When cake/cakes is/are fully cooled, cut into servings. Turn slices over to reveal the fruit on the bottom. Top with whipped topping, and spoon reserved fruit juice over the top. |
