Buster is an aggressive and ambitious assistant coach. He longs for the limelight and the money that is attributed to the position of head coach. While he will do anything to reach this goal, he realizes he must keep a cool head, as he knows that all his future ambitions depend on him keeping both his temper and his secrets to himself.

Hilary, the owner of the team, is a prominent socialite whose husband, Robsem Robinson, a Wall Street baron, died suddenly and left her a multi-millionaire. This wealth has helped Hilary attain the ownership of many business ventures. She is described as rich and bitchy, often disagreeable and unpleasant, and one who can be cold and calculating in getting what she wants. Hilary likes to run the show.

Justin is an excellent athlete, well-versed in all the mechanics of the game, but not aggressive enough to push the envelope to win. This virtuous, role-model player is the mild-mannered, peace-maker on the team, who has an obsession with cleanliness and can often be heard quoting the Bible.

Marshall is an extremely gifted athlete who excels in any sport in which he participates. Cocky, aggressive and talented, he is by far the best player on the team. Perhaps it’s his green underwear that brings him so much success and luck. However, he also has a huge propensity for trouble and has been convicted and punished for many offenses. Because of his latest misdemeanor, he is temporarily benched. Whether he plays in the big game or not, remains to be seen.

Diamond is a top model for a magazine for men, whose curvaceous figure and southern accent are among her finest assets. She comes across as bold and daring, loud and sassy, but in a friendly and amusing way. Though she always speaks her mind and tell it how it is, most people find her candidness very amusing. Diamond likes to bring pleasure to whomever she encounters. Lately she has been lavishing her charms on Buster Johnson.

Once a beauty queen, Margo is now the queen of domesticity. Cooking gourmet meals, sewing elegant fashions, and healthy and very productive gardening are some of the homemaker skills in which she excels. Her fabulous parties which always receive rave reviews are definitely the place “to see and be seen.” To combat her loneliness when Mike is away, she volunteers in many charitable organizations.

Rusty has been around for a long time and loves working with the players. He sees it all and hears it all, but because of his slight speech impediment…he stutters a bit….he does not speak much. His players are kept safe from injury and active to play; therefore, although Rusty is a little grouchy because of his own aches and pains, he is pretty much respected by all.

On the outside Kelly is a cute and spunky cheerleader, but on the inside she is the ultimate type A, cut-throat over-achiever. Her vivacious spirit and boundless energy attract everyone she encounters. Constantly complimenting others, whether sincere or not, is one of Kelly’s outstanding virtues. She is truly a people-pleaser who usually gets what she wants. Kelly is dating Justin Jermex.

Stud Muffin, drool worthy, eye-candy are words that might be attributed to Bodhi. He stars shirtless on countless youtube videos. Although he is not one of the better players on the team, he draws a lot of fans.

Raven, whose parents were very wealthy, well-travelled socialites, was raised mostly by nannies, boarding schools and the movies. This little wild child is an exciting and adventurous rebel, who loves to shock people with her wickedly flagrant lifestyle. She is a free spirit who does whatever she feels like. The disapproval of her mother and others of her erratic behavior only entices Raven to go a bit overboard every chance she gets.

Thomas is an excellent general manager whose many good choices have produced a winning team. He hired his good friend, Mike Sweeney, as head coach, and is a great negotiator responsible for acquiring all the top players. Many years ago, Thomas was slightly crippled in a car accident which took the life of his wife. His favorite golf club serves as his cane.

Natalie is working hard on “being there” and bringing interesting and exciting sports news into our homes. Her quick wit and a great sense of humor help her get to the meat of the matter and make her a very popular interviewer. Always camera ready, Natalie snaps pictures wherever and whenever she wants.

“Doc,” as everyone calls him, works hand in hand with Rusty Traynor. Doc goes to all the games and takes care of all the serious injuries. Doc retired from the hospital after being accused of malpractice in the death of a patient. Because of this, Doc is a little melancholic and drinks a lot.

Smoky is a longtime friend of Mike & Margo Sweeney. A political activist, Smoky strums and expresses his thoughts and feelings around the world. Smoky sings about the common man and against the rich and greedy, yet has a curious power over all. His albums all skyrocket off the charts.

Morgan is a sports psychotherapist who has hit the mother lode with this team of athletes. Although Morgan feels that everyone around the game could use his/her services, Morgan’s emotional outbursts prove that he/she is indeed a bit wacky and unsound as well.

Susie is a cheerleader whose ultimate desire is to be a movie star. Not especially smart and a little too giggly, she dramatizes everything. Susie is very friendly and has been voted the team’s favorite cheerleader.

Mike was a very successful coach who seemed to motivate and bring out the most effort from his players. A demanding disciplinarian, practices and behavior on and off the field were as important to him as winning the game. Religion was very important to Mike, and his faith strongly influenced his life. Although Mike spent most of his time with his team family, Mike was very devoted to his wife, Margo. Like everybody else, Mike was loved and hated for some of his characteristics.
