Holly is the publicity and event planner for Donatello Noboddi's Fashions. She is throwing a grand holiday party to introduce “Donatello Soul,” their new fragrance line. While she is professional and fastidious, she is also very friendly and has lots of spark. Her vivacious spirit and boundless energy attract everybody. Holly is married to Noel and has a twin sister, Hope.

Noel is married to Holly and a wealthy man due to his successful law career. He is aggressive and extremely creative when defending his clients. Outgoing and intelligent, he can usually see through the lies and uncover the truth in most situations. But, being a lawyer, he is loved by some and alienated by others.

Ellie is a beautiful woman, whose husband died in an airplane crash, and left Ellie a very wealthy widow. She is the mother of Hope and Holly, and is an uptight perfectionist who is very concerned with appearances and social status. Her icy demeanor and her obsessive-compulsive behavior upset her family and friends, and compel her to have things her way. Ellie is a big promoter of Donatello’s works.

Donatello is a grand international Italian fashion designer whose haute couture is all the rage, and sought after by high-society throughout the world. Of course, he is a flashy dresser who doesn’t hesitate to brag loudly about all his accomplishments. He also is paranoid about keeping his breath fresh with sprays and mints. Although he has had many romantic involvements in his life, tonight he is escorting his long-time friend and great promoter, Ellie Gant, to the party.

Diana is an acclaimed fashion reporter who is naturally inquisitive and this has earned her the reputation as society’s gossip queen. She snaps pictures wherever and whenever she pleases. She has a great sense of humor and tells it like it is, even when it is not necessary to do so. Her stories become a lot more colorful after a few cocktails and a little time spent with her friend Johnny Walker.

Johnny is a very handsome bartender, who owns a small pub which services the people in the area in more ways than one. He is a bit of a playboy and always the life of the party. Because of his outstanding good looks and great sense of humor he is very popular with the ladies. Drinking and gambling are pleasures that can occasionally cause trouble for him.

Hope is Holly’s twin sister and quite the opposite of Holly. Hope is a hopeless romantic who falls in love with every man she meets. With her carefree attitude, she always seems to create unnecessary drama around her. She is a free spirit who does whatever she wants, regardless of what others think. Hope often resorts to a little medicinal assistance to cope with her world. She spends most of her time on her paintings, but she occasionally models for Donatello when she feels up to it.

Chris is a trained forester who has been working with a scientist on a formula to obliterate the insect that is ravaging the evergreens in the forests. While the formula is still in the rudimentary stages, it has already created a lot of excitement. Chris, an amateur guitarist, is Noel’s cousin who only comes home once a year for the holidays and thereby renews his romantic relationship with Hope.

Sabina can be described as “more plastic than a Visa card!” While her acting ability is not too hot, her curvaceous figure and southern accent seem to boil the blood of the opposite sex. Sabina is very friendly and likes to bring pleasure to whomever she encounters. Lately she has been lavishing her charms on Oscar de Rezenta, who treats her like a princess.

Oscar is the owner and manager of the high-end fashion store, BLING. After the death of his famous, fashion designer father, Oscar opened his shop to honor his father’s works and that of other renowned designers. Oscar is on top of the fashion scene and refuses to carry any of Donatello’s lines.

Sheila is Noel’s wayward sister who is notoriously troublesome. Noel has had to defend her for DUI’s, bad checks, shoplifting, and a string of other offenses that required his assistance. She is the black sheep in the family, and is always fighting with everybody. Sheila is downright intimidating and scary!

Mel is Donatello’s assistant who is extremely emotional about everything. Mel intersperses songs in his/her sensational accolades about romance and art. According to Mel, there is always a silver lining in the clouds and everything has a happy ending.

Claire is an old friend of Holly, who has the gift of extrasensory perception. While she helps others with her talents, these talents are also responsible for the failure of her three marriages. When she sees dark clouds gathering, she immediately severs that relationship. She is virtually afraid of her own shadow, so she is always looking over her shoulder.

Justin is Holly Daize’s right–hand man and her savior when she’s in a crunch. He is always at her beck and call because he has a major crush on Holly. Justin is talented and good looking, but he doesn’t like to speak too much, because he has a bit of a stuttering problem and sometimes spits when he talks.
